The Lambrusco Concerto by Ermete Medici is a semi-sparkling red wine from Emilia that is fresh and very plesant, with a dry, fruity and well-balanced taste. Perfumes of fresh red fruits, balckberries and raspberries invite to drink
Ermete Medici's Lambrusco Reggiano "Concerto" is a sparkling red wine that elevates the family's journey, tied to this historic winery, in revaluing and bringing this type of wine back to the highest levels without forgetting its traditional roots. With "Concerto," Lambrusco finally manages to enter the realm of Italian oenological excellences, contrary to those who consider it merely an easy-drinking wine.
"Concerto" by Ermete Medici is the result of a project to elevate this type of wine through a unique and meticulous vinification process of individual vineyards, along with reduced yields per hectare. The Lambrusco Salamino grapes come from the La Rampata Estate and undergo fermentation in steel before undergoing a second fermentation, following the Martinotti Method, in autoclaves, where they rest for several months on the lees. The name of this wine evokes the harmonious and refined sensations that music can instil in those who listen. Nothing could be more true!
The Lambrusco Reggiano "Concerto" presents itself in the glass as a bright ruby-red. On the nose, it's a triumph of soloists: hints of incredibly fresh red fruit, strawberry, blackberry, cherry, raspberry, and red currant, along with subtle vegetal and floral aromas, lead to a clean and intense finish. On the palate, it is dry, enveloping, rounded, lively, and beautifully balanced between freshness and tannins. It's versatile in pairings, ranging from local and traditional cuisine to more flavorful dishes from different regions. It is a renaissance of Lambrusco at its finest, a must-have for convivial and enlightening occasions.
