LAMBRUSCO 'SOLCO' PALTRINIERI 2023 DESCRIPTION

Lambrusco "Solco," made by the Paltrinieri winery, is a semi-dry and sparkling version of the region's iconic red wine. It is the bottle of tradition, which, even in its name, wants to emphasize continuity with the customs of the past and with the history of a region which has always been linked to viticulture. The label represents a modern interpretation of the everyday red, which has always been present on the tables of the Modena area. Its lively, fruity freshness gives a sip of immediate pleasantness, a real explosion of red fruit aromas. The slight sweetness perfectly balances the vibrant freshness typical of the grape variety.

Lambrusco "Solco" was born in a winery that represents the history of Lambrusco. The Paltrinieri family has been making wines in the Sorbara area since the early 1900s and has contributed greatly to the qualitative growth of the area's wines, with labels that express the best qualities of this ancient native vine. Lambrusco Salamino grapes are harvested in mid-September in the Vigneto del Cristo, a 15-hectare plot characterized by loose soil, quite rich in organic matter. Lambrusco Salamino has always been grown in the vineyards of the Modena area as a pollinator for the Lambrusco di Sorbara vines. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with classic maceration on the skins. The wine is then transferred to an autoclave, where re-fermentation takes place according to the Martinotti or Charmat Method, leaving a small percentage of residual sugar so as to give the wine a soft and slightly sweetish taste.

Lambrusco "Solco" from the Paltrinieri winery is a convivial bottle that offers a perfect interpretation, fragrant and fruity, of this traditional Modenese wine. It is a simple and lively red, particularly suitable for accompanying a board of savoury sauces from the territory. To the eye, it is bright ruby red with luminous violet hues, denoting its youth. The bouquet expresses exuberant aromas of berries, ripe cherry, strawberry and delicate floral nuances of violet. The sip is intense and smooth, with sweet, juicy fruit enlivened by a slight carbonicity. The finish is fruity, harmonious and with great freshness.
