Bronzone' is a full-bodied and structured interpretation of Morellino di Scansano, matured in barriques for 14 months. It is a red wine with intense aromas of red fruit, graphite and wild spices. The palate is full and structured, with savoury aromas and velvety tannins.
The Riserva 'Bronzone' is a Morellino di Scansano that expresses anexcellent combination of power, identity and personality. It is a Sangiovese with a strong soul, originating from the Mazzei winery's holdings in the Belguardo Estate in Maremma, capable of being forgotten in the cellar for the next five years, guaranteeing an interesting evolution, to say the least. Try it with agnolotti with meat sauce, with main courses of meat, both white and red, or game.
Bronzone' is a Morellino di Scansano Riserva that originates from pure Sangiovese grapes, a vine that is, to say the least, representative of Tuscan oenology. The vines of this variety grow at an altitude of approximately 70-130 metres above sea level, facing south and south-west, sinking their roots into soil composed mainly of sandstone and limestone. Tenuta Belguardo - Mazzei carries out the harvest by hand around the second half of September. The must obtained from pressing the grapes ferments by macerating on the skins for between 14 and 16 days. Ageing takes place in barriques, 40% new, for 14 months, at the end of which it is ready to be bottled and marketed.
This Morellino di Scansano Riserva 'Bronzone' red wine from Tenuta Belguardo - Mazzei presents itself to the eye with a beautiful colour, which appears typically ruby. The nose is broad and complex, with initial notes of red fruit, then veering towards floral sensations and more tertiary touches, especially spicy. On the palate it is of excellent volume, with a full and swelling body, endowed with a mineral sip and tannins finely integrated into the overall structure. A bottle of great charm, which recounts in one sip that small corner of Maremma.
