Donato Angiuli Moscato Secco 'Maccone' is an Apulian white wine from the Murgia area of Bari, characterized by an exceptional quality/convenience ratio. This label belongs to the 'Maccone' line, a selection that encompasses expressions with a personality as strong and sincere as the unique man it pays homage to, who worked for several years in the vineyards and cellar of the Donato Angiuli estate. Moscato Secco 'Maccone' is produced exclusively in particular vintages in which the climatic trend allows the creation of a dry aromatic white wine, endowed with freshness and flavor.
Donato Angiuli's Moscato Secco 'Maccone' is made from only Moscato Bianco grapes grown on limestone-clay soils. Harvesting is done strictly by hand in crates in the early hours of the morning and the clusters are then subjected to a 48-hour cryomaceration, at the end of which they are destemmed and fermented with only the flower must in temperature-controlled steel tanks. After several months of aging, also in steel, the wine is finally bottled and marketed the following month.
