NOSIOLA IN ANFORA 'FONTANASANTA' FORADORI 2020 DESCRIPTION

The Nosiola "Fontanasanta" by Foradori is an authentic re-interpretation of a vine, Nosiola, too often forgotten and too exalted for its features. Elisabetta Foradori, always careful to restore luster to the indigenous grapes of his beloved Trentino, has decided to undertake a project with Nosiola, starting a few years ago the production of Fontanasanta. The production philosophy is that of Elizabeth, one that provides a maceration of amphorae for 8 months and a subsequent aging in barrels of acacia and oak. An ancient vine growing on poor soils Trentino and that can create wines of great delicacy and longevity. Elisabetta lives are those of grapes, rich energy derived, full of an energy that comes directly from the force of the amphora thanks to its shape and the clay of which it is composed. Nosiola "Fontanasanta" is a white wine that requires patience and time, which requires an evolution in the bottle and measures more typical of red wines, such as a long ventilation and a minimum temperature of 15 degrees. The result is assured: we are faced with an "Orange Wine" of extreme elegance, with complex aromas of tropical fruit, citrus and herbs that captivate the nose. A wine of great balance and flavor, fresh, intriguing and great longevity. A Nosiola which is a credit and prestige to a vine too often forgotten and too little excited...
