The 'PadreFiglio' by Ligurian producer Diego Bosoni is a macerated white wine capable of combining body and dynamic taste, the result of a beautiful project based on the recovery of ancient traditions interpreted in a modern key. Son of Paolo Bosoni, historic founder of the well-known Ligurian winery Lunae Bosoni, Diego has decided to embark on a personal adventure parallel to running the family business. His project is based on sustainable agriculture and a non-interventionist oenology, from which wines with character take shape. The producer's attentions revolve around traditional Ligurian grape varieties such as Albarola, Malvasia and, of course, Vermentino, a variety strongly valued by the Bosoni family.

'Padrefiglio' Diego Bosoni originates from a single white grape variety whose grapes come from a single vineyard planted on soil rich in skeleton and poor in organic substance. Harvesting takes place in the early hours of the morning, so that the grapes are processed at cool temperatures, and is followed by destemming and mashing in stainless steel tanks. Alcoholic fermentation is entrusted solely to indigenous yeasts, accompanied by about two weeks of maceration on the skins.

This is how Diego Bosoni's 'Padrefiglio' is born, which in the glass has a luminous golden yellow hue. The fascinating and complex olfactory context is delineated by floral hints of honeysuckle and mugwort and hints of ripe fruit reminiscent of apricot jam, all complemented by herbaceous nuances of thyme and hints of almond on the finish. The taste reveals a full and enveloping body, well supported by excellent freshness in a persistent and pleasantly bitter progression of surprising momentum.
