PINOT NERO GIANNITESSARI 2022 DESCRIPTION

The Pinot Noir produced by Giannitessari is a wine that comes from the hills of Veneto. It is an interpretation of the great Burgundy vine, expressing youthful freshness and a fruity fragrance. It is a simple red with a pleasantly smooth and immediate sip. An agile wine and easy to pair with many dishes, thanks to a great delicacy and expressive finesse. Its aromas of small red fruits, floral and spicy nuances impress with their elegance and harmony.

The Giannitesari Pinot Noir is produced by relatively new winery, but that can count on the great experience and knowledge of the territory of the owner Gianni Tessari. It is no coincidence that the estate has vineyards in some of the most suitable areas of the Veneto: the Lessini Mountains to produce Metodo Classico, Soave for whites and Monti Berici for international red vines. The love for Pinot Noir led Gianni Tessari to confront this difficult grape. As a great connoisseur of the wines and lands of Veneto, he did not want to try to make a French style, but he preferred to follow the nature of the territory and the climate of the place, to produce a wine that could be an authentic and sincere expression of his vineyards.

The Pinot Noir of Giannitessari winery is a red characterized by a profile that well reflects the varietal notes of the Burgundian grape and the peculiarities of a very suitable territory, thanks to soils of limestone and rocks of ancient volcanic origin. At the end of the harvest, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats, with a maceration on the skins of about ten days. Before bottling, it ages for 6 months in large oak barrels. In the glass it has a ruby red color with slight violet reflections. To the nose it strikes with delicate aromas of cherry, small red berries, floral hints and subtle spicy nuances. On the palate it's medium-bodied, with subtle aromas and a juicy fruit. The tannins are soft and the finish expresses a pleasant mineral freshness. It is a Pinot Noir in its clear essentiality.
