Ruggeri's "Giall'Oro" is a Prosecco extra-dry soft and creamy, very pleasant. Notes of ripe fruit, white flowers and a lively freshness make it simple and very versatile, ideal for drinking in company
This Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore Extra Dry "Giall'Oro" is made by the Ruggeri winery from a blend where, alongside Glera, there is a slight presence of Verdisio and Perera. Its fresh softness makes it a wine of great pleasantness, perfect for an aperitif in the company of lifelong friends, and why not, also for a convivial seafood dinner, perhaps by the sea, with the sunset as a backdrop.
"Giall'Oro" is a Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Extra Dry that comes from a blend where, alongside Valdobbiadene's symbolic grape, Glera, we also find a small percentage of Verdisio and Perera. The vineyards where these three varieties grow are located on the slopes of the foothills of the Dolomites in the northern part of the province of Treviso. The grapes are harvested by Ruggeri during the second half of September, and the must obtained from pressing the berries ferments at a controlled temperature of 18 degrees in the absence of the skins. The second fermentation takes place in an autoclave, following the production principles of the Martinotti Method. The wine, after frothing, which is responsible for the perlage visible to the eye, is then filtered and bottled.
This Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Extra Dry "Giall'Oro" by Ruggeri reveals itself to the visual examination with a straw-yellow colour, conditioned by some greenish reflections in the rim; the perlage is fine-grained and of good duration. The olfactory spectrum is organized around notes of white-fleshed fruit, interspersed with typical varietal scents of acacia flower. In the mouth, it is light-bodied, young and dynamic, with a sip marked by a fruity taste and pleasant freshness. The perfect label to celebrate the aperitif throughout the year.
