Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut "Particella 68," from the Sorelle Bronca winery, is the result of a desire to give voice to and showcase the nuances of the historic Prosecco area by vinifying individual vineyards separately capable of yielding superior grapes. These are true estate lieu-dits. In particular, "68," expresses the full potential of the central area of the Colbertaldo hill, with very ripe grapes capable of giving harmonious wines that combine aromatic richness and clear freshness.
"Particella 68," Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut, was born in a winery founded in the 1980s, which has established itself as one of the territory's realities of absolute excellence. The Sorelle Bronca estate has vineyards in the classic hilly Prosecco area of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano. The cuvée parcel "68" is the fruit of a historical plot of the estate, which is located in Colbertaldo di Vidor, at an altitude between 170 and 200 meters above sea level, facing southeast. The Glera, Bianchetta and Perera vines are about 40 years old and are cultivated on limestone soils of ancient morainic origin, which are very suitable for white varieties. Harvesting is done manually, and after soft pressing of the grapes, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. After a rest on the lees for 4 months, the base wine is started to froth and refermentation in autoclaves according to the Martinotti or Charmat Method
Spumante Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut "Particella 68" is one of the jewels in the crown of the Sorelle Bronca winery's production, highlighting the distinctive characteristics of a single, particularly suited terroir. It has a light straw yellow colour, crossed by a delicate and continuous perlage. The nose expresses a bouquet characterized by notes of white flowers, orange blossom and acacia, aromas of green apple, pear, white peach and nuances of aromatic herbs. Fragrant and fruity, it has a rich and ripe mouthfeel, well balanced by a lively freshness and a pleasantly savoury finish.
