'Jaminia' is a Grechetto from the Romagna coast that stands out for its freshness and ease of drinking. Maturation in stainless steel enhances the fresh and fruity aromas of the grape. On the palate, it is agile and direct, with notes of white fruit and delicate hints of honey
The Rimini Rebola "Jaminia" by the San Patrignano winery in Romagna is a fresh and pleasant white wine that reflects the characteristics of the Grechetto Gentile grape variety on which the label is based. The name Grechetto Gentile refers to a variety that is also known by the synonyms Pignoletto, Grechetto di Todi, Rebola and Clone G5 and is widespread in various regions of central Italy, particularly in Umbria and Emilia-Romagna. Rebola is the name given to the Grechetto Gentile on the Romagna Riviera, where it is mainly vinified in a still and dry version, like this "Jaminia", a name derived from a genus of land snails.
Rimini San Patrignano 'Jaminia' Rebola originates from pure Grechetto Gentile grapes harvested entirely by hand between the first and second ten days of September. In the cellar, the grapes first undergo a brief cold skin maceration, followed by gentle pressing and then alcoholic fermentation of the must for 70% of the mass in stainless steel tanks and the remainder in second-passage French oak tonneaux. Maturation takes place in the same type of wine containers for approximately 3 months, spent on the fine lees with periodic batonnage, aimed at enriching the complexity and body of the wine.
San Patrignano's Rebola Rimini 'Jaminia' has a light straw yellow colour. On the nose, fragrant and delicate sensations of white-fleshed fruit, citrus, broom and white flowers combine with hints of dried fruit, sweet nuances of honey and mineral echoes. The taste is slender and light, of excellent drinkability, with a lively freshness that accompanies the pleasant finish reminiscent of notes of pineapple, saffron and almond, characteristics that invite gastronomic pairing.
