"Mirtillo" is a red wine of great juiciness and pleasantness, produced in the Languedoc from pure Mourvèdre grapes. The nose recalls the essence of the forest: small red fruit, undergrowth and a touch of spice. The sip is graceful, authentic and pleasantly rustic. Perfect with meat dishes, it is ideal for those who love genuine wines full of character.
The 'Mourvèdre' red wine from the Tutti Frutti Ananas winery is an artisanal label with ajuicy, drinkable essence born of the territory of Banyuls-sur-Mer, an area located at the foot of the French Pyrenees. It is a pure Mourvèdre, a variety known as Monastrell in Spain, its place of origin, from which it spread throughout southern France over the centuries. This black grape variety prefers warm and dry climates, and is able to give rise to wines with a spicy and herbaceous character, remarkable structure and intensity. The winery's interpretation, on the other hand, is all about drinkability and smoothness, qualities that characterise the entire range of Tutti Frutti Ananas labels.
The Red All-Fruit Pineapple 'Blueberry' comes from pure Mourvèdre grapes grown in the Banyuls-sur-Mer area using environmentally sustainable practices. After the harvest, the grapes are transported to the winery and vinified in red whole cluster in stainless steel tanks, with spontaneous alcoholic fermentation using only indigenous yeasts accompanied by a variable period of contact between the must and the skins. Malolactic fermentation is also carried out while the subsequent maturation phase, which lasts several months, takes place in cement tanks. The wine is finally bottled without undergoing any clarification or filtration and, furthermore, no sulphur dioxide is added throughout the entire production process.
The red 'Mirtillo' of the Tutti Frutti Ananas project has a luminous ruby red colour. The nose is defined by intense hints of berries such as strawberry, raspberry and blueberry, combined with evocative hints of underbrush and spices. The taste is juicy and pleasantly fresh, with remarkable verticality and well-integrated tannins that anticipate the remarkably smooth finish.
