Caparzo's Rosso di Montalcino 'La Caduta' is an elegant wine from an exceptional cru south of Montalcino, with 'Brunello-like' tenor and complexity. The nose offers fruity notes reminiscent of dark berries such as blackberries, then intense hints of cherry and sweet spices on the finish. On the palate, it is warm, very clean and well-balanced, the sip of great harmony. An excellent wine now but also to be left for many years in the cellar
