That of Le Chiuse is one of the best Rossi di Montalcino; in the glass will show immediately in all its smoothness, its entire balance, in all its intense fruity bouquet. Here you stand out in a crescendo exciting, notes of cherry and currant, purple and violet, until you get to the closing spicy that make the experience even more intense and elegant. The winery Le Chiuse has an history very ancient; since 1700 there are documents confirming its existence, just when it belonged to the family Biondi Santi. The turning point, however, comes in the second half of the seventies, thanks to the expert hands of Fiorella first and Simonetta then, always in love with their land, local traditions and culture of wine. In this climate of great historical richness born Rosso di Montalcino Le Chiuse; a Sangiovese that comes to life by three vineyards facing north, with ages ranging from 5 to 22 years. First 6 months of aging in French oak barrels and casks, we proceed to a maceration on the skins which lasts 18 days to extract the most possible elements dyes and tannin from the grape of Sangiovese. An intensity that we find in the cup, where the Rosso di Montalcino by Le Chiuse it shows in his beautiful red ruby and where can boast of offering an aromatic bouquet of rare beauty and persuasiveness.
