The Sagrantino di Montefalco by Milziade Antano is a red wine of great personality, focused, exuberant and powerful. A great example of Sagrantino which was created thanks to the passion, care and dedication of Francesco Antano, called "The Artisan of Sagrantino". A cellar that is an integral part of his house, a cellar that is an integral part of his life. The family's Antano is devoted to Sagrantino for about 40 years and leads, currently, about 12 hectares of vineyards in the Farm Colleallodole; Colleallodole is a fancy name, which refers to the known bird flying over the vineyards of the winery during the migrations of October. Francesco has a great respect for the tradition of Sagrantino and being able to make a visit in his basement can be seen from your spirit: the ancient wine-making methods, thoroughness, perseverance, passion and learning. A vintner who has learned how to do good Sagrantino from an early age and was able to revive his idea in Montefalco, one of the most interesting areas of our country from the point of view of wine. The Sagrantino of Montefalco by Milziade Antano is a landmark in the world of Sagrantino; a benchmark that opens the eyes with a ruby red tending to garnet and gives the nose intense aromas of blackberries and cherries. A Sagrantino powerful, with a great structure and personality, crispy, exuberant, but always balanced.
