'SAMPAGNINO SULLE BUCCE' BULLI DESCRIPTION

Bulli's "Sampagnino Sulle Bucce" is a fresh and fragrant semi-sparkling wine, appealing for its youthful fruity profile, which directly expresses a juicy, dry, saline, very pleasant and thirst-quenching sip. It is the label that illustrates very well the Emilian vocation for producing sparkling wines, characterised by an extraordinary drinkability. It is the perfect bottle for an aperitif with friends, to be enjoyed with a platter of cold meats and tasty local cheeses. Depending on personal taste, you can choose to pour the wine without shaking the bottle, so as to leave the spent yeast sediment at the bottom, or to turn the bottle upside down before uncorking it, so as to bring the yeast into suspension.

The semi-sparkling wine "Sampagnino Sulle Bucce" is a typical local speciality of the Bulli winery. The grapes grown by the winery come from vineyards cultivated with local white grape varieties on the estate located in Bacedasco Alto di Castell'Arquato. The vines are planted on red soils of a clay matrix, with the presence of sand, and enjoy a sunny south-eastern exposure, which allows for excellent ripening. After the harvest, vinification is carried out with a brief maceration on the skins, followed by destemming and gentle pressing. The must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The base wine is re-fermented in the bottle sur-lies according to the Ancestral Method, with the addition of only grape must, without exogenous sugars and sulphites.

The semi-sparkling Bulli white wine "Sampagnino Sulle Bucce" from a Piacenza-based winery is a straightforward and genuine bottle, inspired by the good wine of yesteryear, which was traditionally produced by local winegrowers. To the eye it is an intense yellow colour with bright orange reflections and a lively effervescence. The nose is characterised by aromas of wild flowers, chamomile, yeast and bread crust, candied lemon peel, ripe yellow fruit, softness of tropical fruit, nuances of herbs and spices. On the palate it is rich and harmonious, with a soft, enveloping mouthfeel, leading to a dry finish, pleasantly characterised by a crisp savoury trail and lively freshness.
