SAUVIGNON 'FLOREADO' ANDRIANO 2023 DESCRIPTION

The 'Floreado' white wine is a fine expression of what Sauvignon can give in Alto Adige. It is in fact an exceedingly varietal bottle, in which exotic fruit sensations mingle with the vegetal and herbaceous hints typical of the grape variety used. This is thanks to the Kellerei Cantina Andriano, skilful in not altering the intrinsic characteristics of Sauvignon, thus offering an almost "didactic" version for all those who decide to get to know this grape. On the palate, it entices the drinker with a mineral sip endowed with a pleasant freshness;

Floreado' is a Sauvignon made from the grapes of the same name, used in purity by the Andrian winery. The vines of this variety, which is particularly at home in the region, are cultivated in the vineyards surrounding Andriano, located at around 260-380 metres above sea level and characterised by a red, clayey subsoil dominated by white Dolomite rock. The grapes are carefully selected during the harvest, and after destemming, the berries are softly pressed. The must obtained then ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. This is followed by maturation, in which the wine is left to reston the fine lees for six months, again in steel, until bottling procedures begin.

Sauvignon 'Floreado' announces itself to the eye with a luminous yellow colour, crossed by light nuances tending more towards greenish. The aromas that envelop the nose tell of a soul where tropical fruit alternates with vegetable and herbaceous nuances. On the palate, it is light-bodied, lively and vivacious, with a mouthfeel that moves on a very refreshingly savoury texture. A bottle with which Andriano presents us with a Trentino Alto Adige white that is perfect for drinking throughout the meal.
