The Sauvignon "Sanct Valentin" by San Michele Appiano is part of the winery's most prestigious collection, which offers a series of labels made with the best grapes from the estate. The goal is to create a high-level range, able to represent the terroir at its best. These are intense, elegant, and complex wines, characterized by remarkable richness and aromatic concentration. This extraordinary Sauvignon Blanc is no exception, and for many years, it has been part of the elite of reference whites in the region. A wine of great charm, elegant, complex, and persistent, reserved for enthusiasts and connoisseurs, seeking exciting tastings.

The "Sanct Valentin" Sauvignon is a great territorial wine, born in one of the most important realities of Alto Adige. San Michele Appiano winery is a cooperative made up of 350 members who manage 360 hectares of vineyards, producing wines of excellent quality. The grapes used to make this prestigious version of Sauvignon Blanc come from selected vineyards, ranging from 10 to 30 years old, located in the hilly area above San Michele and Appiano Monte, at an altitude between 450 and 600 meters above sea level, with exposure facing southeast. The soils are gravelly, with a high content of limestone. The harvest takes place manually towards the end of September. After soft pressing, 75% of the must ferments in stainless steel tanks, while the rest in oak tonneaux. After 6 months of aging on the lees, the final blending and bottling take place.

The white Sauvignon "Sanct Valentin" by the Alto Adige winery San Michele Appiano was born in 1989 and since then has collected countless awards and accolades, which have established its international fame. Sauvignon Blanc is one of the grape varieties that have best adapted to the region's climate. With a light yellow color and slight green reflections, it expresses a very intense bouquet, with aromas of citrus, yellow fruit, tropical hints, floral nuances, and medicinal herbs. Harmonious and rich, it offers a broad sip, characterized by dense and very persistent aromas, which extend towards a long, fresh, and aromatic finish.
