Zanovello's Serprino ‘Cà Lustra’ is a sparkling homage to the freshness of the Euganean Hills. Made from pure Glera grapes, it comes from a volcanic terrain that enhances its mineral and aromatic notes. On the nose white flowers, jasmine and fruit such as pear and apple stand out, while on the palate it conquers with a lively effervescence and a very clean finish. Perfect with light hors d'oeuvres, fried vegetables or fish dishes, it is a simple and irresistible sparkling wine
Zanovello's Colli Euganei Serprino 'Cà Lustra' is a white wine with a fragrant and light style, rich in aromatic fragrances that recall the qualities of the grape variety from which it is made: Glera. In fact, the DOC Colli Euganei Serprino is reserved for white wines characterised by a subtle effervescence made from only Glera grapes grown in the Euganean Hills area. The name Serprino refers precisely to the Glera biotype of the same name that is widespread in the area, where it flourishes thanks to the volcanic soils particularly rich in mineral substances.
Cà Lustra' Zanovello Colli Euganei Serprino is a 100% Glera, a variety represented specifically by the Serprino biotype, from vines cultivated in accordance with the rules ofcertified organic farming. These are planted on the calcareous and clayey soils of volcanic origin that characterise the Euganean Hills territory. The grapes are vinified using the white wine method through soft pressing and subsequent spontaneous alcoholic fermentation of the must in low-temperature stainless steel tanks. When the liquid still retains some sugars to be transformed, it is transferred into steel autoclaves for light frothing according to the Martinotti Method.
On visual examination Colli Euganei Serprino Zanovello 'Cà Lustra' shows a pale straw yellow hue with a light but lively effervescence. Fragrant sensations of white and yellow-fleshed fruit such as pear and apple describe the olfactory texture together with floral hints of jasmine and herbaceous and mineral nuances. In the mouth, it is fresh, lively and very drinkable, with a soft mousse that enhances the clean and aromatic finish, characterised by varietal returns of fruit and white flowers. The suggestion is to enjoy this wine young to fully appreciate its lively and refreshing character.
