The Veneto wine-growing estate Ca' Lustra Zanovello is located in the heart of the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills, an area that the Zanovello family guards with the utmost respect for the environment. The estate's origins date back to the mid-1960s, when Angelo Zanovello purchased the Faedo estate, located on the southern slopes of Monte Venda, the highest of the Euganean Hills. It was his son Franco, a great wine-growing enthusiast, who started the Ca' Lustra project in 1977, initially using the dark cellar of the Faedo estate. Today the estate, which in the meantime has seen the vineyard park expand, is managed by Franco's children, Marco and Linda Zanovello, who continue the line traced by their father. The siblings' objective is to enhance the different expressions of the Colli Euganei territory, while safeguarding the health of the environment. It is no coincidence that Ca' Lustra is part of VinNatur, an association founded with the aim of bringing together winegrowers intent on defending the integrity and winemaking tradition of their territory through an ecological production approach.

The Ca' Lustra Zanovello estate covers 42 hectares, 25 of which are reserved for vineyards and the remainder for olive groves, woods and pastureland. The plots are distributed in heterogeneous sub-zones, each with its own altimetric and pedological characteristics. In general, the altitudes range from 180 to 400 metres, while the soils, again of volcanic origin, are mostly marly, composed of clay and limestone, with the occasional presence of sand and crushed stone. The varietal platform includes the local Moscato Giallo, Moscato Bianco, Pinella, Marzemina Bianca, Incrocio Manzoni, Garganega and Glera grapes, as well as the international Merlot and Cabernet, all organically certified varieties. In the cellar, fermentation is entrusted solely to indigenous yeasts, while the wine containers used are mainly stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels. Throughout the entire process, clarification operations are excluded and the addition of sulphites is kept to a minimum.

The wines produced by the Ca' Lustra Zanovello wine cellar embrace different types and styles, all characterised by an authentic and genuine dimension, a true yet original expression of the Euganean Hills territory.
