Spatburgunder Rosé from the Enderle and Moll winery is a German rosé wine that could be mistaken for a red if tasted blindly. This label is made from only Pinot Noir grapes and, after a vinification using only indigenous yeasts, the wine is matured in wooden barrels for 10 months. The intense rosé colour introduces aromas of raspberry, mint and herbaceous sensations while the palate enjoys an energetic, elegant, harmonious and long sip

Enderle and Moll's Rosé Spatburgunder is an original rosé wine characterised by a hue that makes it more similar to a red, as well as greater complexity than ordinary labels of the same type. The Enderle and Moll winery is located near the German village of Münchweier in the Baden wine region, where the few hectares of vines benefit from the cool, sunny and well-ventilated climate. 'Spӓtbugunder' is a German synonym for Pinot Noir, just like Blauburgunder.
Enderle and Moll Spatburgunder Rosé is an expression of pure Pinot Noir from vines rooted in soils rich in limestone and red sandstone. Sven Enderle and Florian Moll, friends and owners of this artisanal winery, follow the principles of biodynamic agriculture. Harvesting is carried out by hand and the grapes are then transferred to the cellar where spontaneous alcoholic fermentation takes place, combined with 5 days of maceration on the skins. The subsequent ageing phase takes place in wooden barrels of several passages for approximately 10 months and during the entire process the mass undergoes no clarification or filtration.
The colour of Enderle and Moll's Spatburgunder Rosé is a beautiful, intense rosé with brilliant highlights. The nose offers dense, full suggestions of raspberries, red flowers and mint that meet with pleasant herbaceous hints. The taste is energetic and articulated, characterised by a lively freshness and fine flavour, as well as a persistent finish and a delicate tannic sensation that contributes to the richness of the sip. This is a bottle that is close to red wines in terms of its characteristics, which is why it should be served at a temperature that is not excessively cold.
