Spumante Metodo Classico Dosaggio Zero Blanc de Noirs Divella
Alessandra Divella

Spumante Metodo Classico Dosaggio Zero Blanc de Noirs Divella

Blanc de Noirs Metodo Classico by Divella is a wonderful sparkling wine full of personality, produced from Pinot Noir grapes and aged 42 months on the lees. Alessandra kept this new experiment in her cellar for a long time before presenting it: now it really shows all its aging potential and its deep elegance. Realized with only red grapes, it ferments in tonneau and concrete tanks and it rests on the lees in bottle before the final dégorgement. On the nose it reveals yeast and crust bread aromas and on the palate is smooth and rich. Straight to the point, no-frills.

SPUMANTE METODO CLASSICO DOSAGGIO ZERO BLANC DE NOIRS DIVELLA DESCRIPTION

Alessandra Divella’s Spumante Metodo Classico Dosage Zero Blanc de Noir is undoubtedly one of the best artisanal Italian bubbles, a crystalline expression of the genuine face of Franciacorta. Let’s not exaggerate by saying that all of Alessandra’s creatures are in the elite of the classic Italian methods, capable, albeit with different expressiveness, to rival the cousins from beyond the Alps. Alessandra, a very young and talented winemaker, took over 2 hectares of vineyard in Gussago, the heart of Franciacorta, with the intent to enhance a renowned territory but at the same time mistreated by caricatural interpretations and devoid of personality. Immediately clear ideas in the approach to the vineyard, which being a living organism, deserves care and attention. No to chemical and synthetic substances and no to the prevailing aging, to ensure that they are territory and grapes to speak, with maniacal attention to the maturity and quality of the latter. Spontaneous fermentation for basic wines and long aging on lees, complete the picture of one of the most dynamic and interesting realities of the entire Italian panorama.

The Blanc De Noir Dosage Zero Classic Method signed Divella is obtained only from Pinot Noir grapes, cultivated only with the aid of copper and sulfur. The vines rest on clay calcareous soils and are located about 400 meters high. In the cellar the base wines ferment spontaneously and age in various containers including cement, tonneaux and used barriques. After the assembly of the various parcels, the classic refermentation takes place in the bottle, with a long aging of 42 months on the lees. Not dosed to preserve purity and integrity.

The Classic Blanc De Noir Zero Dosage Method by Divella has a bright golden dress, with a fine and persistent bubble. The nose is composed and rigorous, but at the same time does not skimp on salty puffs and a very refined floral bouquet. Then the classic notes given by the aging on the lees, which refer to freshly baked bread. In the mouth it is multidimensional, has meatiness, structure, fat, salinity and freshness, as well as a remarkable length. Thoroughbred, to bet on without hesitation.
