SPUMANTE EXTRA DRY '1938' CECI DESCRIPTION

The "1938" Sparkling Wine from Cantina Ceci is a soft and pleasantly fruity Extra Dry, made with three white grape varieties historically present in the vineyard area around the city of Parma: Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon Blanc, and Malvasia di Candia. It is a sparkling wine produced with the Martinotti Method or Charmat, which, thanks to refermentation in autoclave, allows the preservation of the primary aromas of the grapes and their fruity fragrance. The bouquet is characterized by floral and white fruit aromas, with more mature and soft hints of pastry. The taste is harmonious, with still crisp fruit and a pleasantly fresh finish.

The Extra Dry "1938" by Ceci is a Sparkling Wine made with a cuvée of Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon Blanc, and Malvasia di Candia, a very harmonious and balanced blend that combines elegance, aromatic freshness, and seductive softness. The winery is located in Torrile, north of Parma, and thanks to its historical roots dating back to the 1930s, it represents the tradition of the region's wines, renewed in the name of quality and elegance. The vineyards are cultivated in hilly areas, and the harvest is done manually. Once in the cellar, the grapes are cooled and pressed gently to extract only the flower must. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. Once assembled, the base wines undergo the sparkling process and the second fermentation in an autoclave, following the Martinotti Method or Charmat.

The "1938" from Cantina Ceci is an Extra Dry Sparkling Wine that, from its name, aims to emphasize the concept of harmony. Three grape varieties, Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon Blanc, and Malvasia di Candia, come together to create a melody of taste, elegant and refined. The colour is brilliant straw yellow, with a fine and continuous perlage. It releases intense aromas on the nose with floral notes, delicate vegetal nuances, citrus, and soft aromatic scents. On the palate, it stands out for lively freshness and a saline vein that balances the ripe fruit.
