SPUMANTE EXTRA DRY ROSÉ 'BOLLÉ' ANDREOLA DESCRIPTION

The Extra Dry Rosé Sparkling Wine "Bollé" by Andreola is a soft and fragrant version that highlights the fruity character of the Incrocio Manzoni 13.0.25 grape variety, created in the 1930s by Luigi Manzoni by crossing Raboso del Piave with Moscato d’Hamburg. The idea was to create a new variety that had the structure and freshness of Raboso, enriched by the fruity and slightly aromatic notes typical of Moscato. The result was a great success. With the resurgence of interest in rosé wines, this variety has been rediscovered. It has proven perfect for making this type of wine, especially through the sparkling wine process.

The Rosé “Bollé” Extra Dry Sparkling Wine by Andreola is produced on the company estate in Col S. Martino, located in the classic Prosecco area. The vineyards are situated on the hilly slopes of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, in highly favorable areas characterized by steep slopes, often difficult to cultivate. The cool and ventilated climate allows for the ripening of grapes of excellent quality. The clusters come from the Incrocio Manzoni 13.0.25 vineyards of the estate, cultivated at an altitude of about 150 meters above sea level, on predominantly clayey soils resting on sandstone rock substrates. At the end of the harvest operations, the grapes are very gently pressed, with brief contact with the skins. The free-run must is fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The base wine is then transferred to an autoclave, where the refermentation occurs according to the Martinotti or Charmat Method, which preserves the typical richness and varietal fragrance of the grape.

Extra Dry Rosé “Bollé”, produced by the Treviso winery Andreola, is a sparkling wine with a soft and fruity profile, particularly suitable for those who prefer rich, alluring aromas and a very harmonious and smooth sip. In the glass, it presents a bright light pink color, traversed by a lively and continuous perlage, which brings aromas of ripe cherry, wild strawberries, fragrant notes of small red berries, hints of pink grapefruit, and delicate spicy nuances to the nose. On the palate, it is rich and creamy, smooth and easy, marked by a pleasant fruity sweetness that leads to a finish of good aromatic persistence. It is a convivial bottle, perfect for enjoying with friends during an aperitif, accompanied by a platter of flavorful local cured meats.
