Classic Method Sparkling Wine Brut 'Rosé de Noirs' Deltetto

Deltetto's Classic Method Sparkling Wine Brut 'Rosé de Noirs' is a rosé sparkling wine from Piedmont. It is made from delicately treated indigenous red grapes: short cold maceration and about 30 months on the lees to create a wine with a graceful and seductive profile. On the nose, hints of raspberry and violet intertwine with the typical hints of bubbles, i.e. bread crust and yeast peel. The sip reveals sweet tannins and perfect balance, with pleasant persistence. Versatile at table, perfect with first courses and starters, try it with prosciutto crudo and buffalo mozzarella

CLASSIC METHOD SPARKLING WINE BRUT 'ROSÉ DE NOIRS' DELTETTO DESCRIPTION

The Spumante Metodo Classico Brut 'Rosé de Noirs N' from Piedmont's Deltetto is a bubbly to be appreciated for its dry taste and excellent tension, marked by a pleasant and delicate suggestion of bitter almond. Antonio Deltetto, known as Tony, was the family's pioneer in the production of Metodo Classico sparkling wines, his great passion. In fact, as early as 1980 he undertook experimentation using the indigenous Arneis and Nebbiolo varieties, with immediately encouraging results. The first small production, which numbered just 1,200 bottles, was donated to friends and customers, who enthusiastically thanked Tony, urging him to continue along that path.

The 'Rosé de Noirs' Deltetto Spumante Metodo Classico Brut is made from grapes of a single black berry vine cultivated in accordance with certified organic farming regulations. Following the harvest, which is carried out strictly by hand, the grapes are vinified through a brief cold maceration of 5 hours directly in the press, just enough to extract the desired aromas and colour pigments. At this point, the must undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 °C, while the subsequent mousse takes place in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico at a temperature of 14 °C. This is followed by a long maturation of at least 30 months on the lees before disgorgement and final dosage as Brut.

Deltetto's Metodo Classico Spumante 'Rosé de Noirs' Brut is pale pink in colour with copious effervescence. The nose offers immediate sensations of violet, raspberry and grapefruit peel, accompanied by fragrant hints of yeast and pastry. The taste development, fresh, clean and sharp, closes dry on persistent notes of red fruits and bitter almond.
