Leone de Castris' Susumaniello del Salento Rosato 'Surò' is a fresh example of Apulia's rosé tradition. It is vinified trying to enhance delicacy and aroma: soft pressing, short maceration and fermentation at low temperatures. Subtle hints of citrus and intense pomegranate emerge on the nose. The sip is immediate, characterised by vibrant freshness and a savoury profile. Excellent with seafood or savoury soups
