T Rosato Tramin 2023

The Rosé 'Cuvée T' from the South Tyrolean winery Tramin is a bottle played on pleasantness and gracefulness of taste, qualities that make this rosé wine an ideal choice as a refreshing aperitif. This label belongs to the 'I Classici' line, wines created to express the soul of the South Tyrolean terroir and made through a selection of the best varieties grown on Alpine slopes with full respect for nature. The passionate and joint work of 160 families has made it possible to make Tramin one of South Tyrol's most esteemed wineries.

Tramin Rosé 'Cuvée T' comes from a blend of Merlot, Lagrein and Pinot Noir grape varieties, raised in the foothills of the South Tyrolean Alps at altitudes between 250 and 550 meters above sea level. Here, the vines benefit from the limestone-clay soils, rich in gravel, as well as the cool climate characterized by significant daily temperature swings in summer. In the winery, short contact between the must and skins is made, sufficient to extract the desired colour intensity, followed by gentle pressing. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, the same type of container where the wine remains to mature for several months before bottling.

Tramin's 'Cuvée T' Rosé highlights a deep pink colour. Fresh and immediate hints of wild strawberries and raspberries define the olfactory range, associated with faint floral hints. Light and fresh, intriguing and pleasant sip, with a delicate finish that recalls the red fruit sensations perceived on the nose. The Rosé 'Cuvée T' is a graceful and suave interpretation, which is why it can be paired with delicately flavoured dishes such as fish tartare, sushi or platters of cheeses and short-aged cured meats.
