TEMPRANILLO 'CRIANZA' TINTO PESQUERA 2019 DESCRIPTION

Tempranillo "Crianza" Tinto Pasquera is a full-bodied Spanish red wine that is very enjoyable to drink without ever being boring or repetitive. Credit to a round tannin, expertly crafted that lends silkiness to a fresh-tasting sip. The nose tells of both the primary characteristics of the varietal used Tempranillo and the tertiary nuances absorbed during the ageing phase in wood. In gastronomic terms, if you want to spoil yourself by staying on Spanish soil, we recommend pairing it with a Jamón Ibérico de Bellota.

"Crianza" Tinto Pasquera is a pure Tempranillo, a grape that is grown at about 800 meters above sea level in plots perfectly exposed to the south. The subsoil is characterized by a sandy core, and the climate is continental, tempered by the flows coming from the Atlantic Ocean, with rainfall that helps create the optimal conditions for perfect grape growth. During the harvest, only the best bunches are selected, and the winemaking stage is followed with special care. This is followed by final ageing, in which the wine rests first for 18 months in American oak barrels and then, after bottling, for another six months directly in the glass.

Tempranillo "Crianza" Tinto Pesquera wine reveals itself to the eye with a ruby red colour. The nose opens on fruity touches, which then veers towards floral sensations and lightly spicy and woody nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with a tasty and crisp, rounded mouthfeel, from which emerges a taste marked by a pleasant freshness. A bottle with which the varietal, Tempranillo, is presented with classicism, ideal therefore for those who want to approach this grape that in Spain is considered very important for the entire wine scene.
