Tequila Blanco Cimarron

Tequila Cimarron Blanco represents a Mexican distillate that recalls the artisanal traditions of the State of Jalisco. In fact, it is produced without any use of additives through a spontaneous fermentation of agave juice, which is then distilled. The State of Jalisco is the main producer of tequila and here the agave growers, locally called 'jimadors', have been handing down the art of cultivation for generations.
Cimarron Tequila Blanco is made exclusively from blue agave grown in Atotonilco El Alto, on the Jalisco plateau, at an altitude of an impressive 1689 metres above sea level. Once ripe, the agave plant is stripped of its leaves leaving only the heart called 'piña', rich in sugar juice, which is then cooked for a long time to release the simple sugars. The juice obtained is then left to ferment spontaneously for days in stainless steel tanks and the fermented product is then subjected to a double distillation in copper stills. No additives are used throughout the process and the tequila is finally bottled in one-litre sizes.
Cimarron's Tequila Blanco has a transparent and crystal-clear appearance. The aromatic range opens on fragrant and delicate scents of rose petals, jasmine and exotic fruit, soon joined by light hints of spices and herbaceous memories. Dry, fresh and pleasant taste development, with surprising gracefulness. This tequila, specially designed for distillation due to its remarkable versatility, can be used as a base for classic cocktails such as the Margarita, Long Island Iced Tea and Tequila Sunrise.
