TREBBIANO D'ABRUZZO RISERVA 'MARINA CVETIC' MASCIARELLI 2022 DESCRIPTION

Trebbiano d'Abruzzo to the nth power, that's how we could define the Riserva "Marina Cvetic" made by the Masciarelli winery, a great reality in the Abruzzo wine scene that always manages to reconcile the traditional aspects of the territory with interpretations that surprise with elegance and finesse. An excellent example of this is provided by this Riserva, dedicated to Marina Cvetic, wife of founder Gianni Masciarelli, who, after his death, took over the reins of the business. A bottle of great personality, which develops on two olfactory levels, presenting first lighter floral and fruity scents, and then peculiar tertiary notes, very enveloping.

"Marina Cvetic" is a Riserva that Masciarelli makes from Trebbiano d'Abruzzo grapes, cultivated in vineyards located at an altitude between 250 and 390 meters above sea level, and trained according to the traditional Abruzzo pergola. The grapes, after harvesting, carried out strictly by hand, ferment in new barriques, where they then remain to mature on their own lees for 18 months. Bottling follows, and once in glass, the wine rests for another year before being released on the market.

Masciarelli's white wine Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Riserva "Marina Cvetic" is characterized by a golden yellow color. The aromas on the nose are an explosion of notes of great character, where alongside hints of ripe fruit are floral aromas and intense sensations of caramel and honey. In the mouth it announces itself as very well balanced, with a fresh and smooth sip, characterized by a finish whose taste veers slightly toward smoky. A label reserved for the finest and most evolved palates, eager to try their hand at a great white wine from Abruzzo.
