Tormaresca's Trentangeli is a red wine from Puglia made with Aglianico and other international grape varieties, aged for 12 months in barrique. It expresses the warmth and charm of the Murge territory in a sip of good structure and persistence, enriched by scents of spices, morello cherries and red fruit
Trentangeli is the name that the winery Tormaresca has given to their Aglianico. Owned by the famous Tuscan group Antinori, Tormaresca has fifteen years of age. The company consists of two estates: the first, Bocca di Lupo situated in the beautiful landscape of Minervino Murge, near where eight hundred years ago Federico II wanted to build his famous octagonal castle, the second is Masseria Maìme, in the heart of Salento. The Aglianico grapes grow in the Trentangeli 130 hectares of vineyards, surrounded by beautiful traditional stone walls that surround the winery Bocca di Lupo, a structure built in tuff stone, according to the canons of Puglia’s architectural style. The historic winery Antinori could not have chosen to tie your name in this part of Puglia, where the project Tormaresca stands out both as architectural and wine jewel. Tormaresca has promoted action for the enhancement of traditional varieties in its area, such as Aglianico, working with knowledge to create the excellent Trentangeli. The warm Mediterranean sun, the tuffaceous soil donated by the extinguished volcano, along with the quality Tormaresca - Antinori , could not create a wine capable of shine. Trentangeli fascinates us with the pleasant complexity of its taste, enlivened by its constant balance between tannins, red fruits and spices aromas. The barrique gives to Trentangeli wine an elegant softness that pleases the palate, gently recalling the flavors of the terroir of the beautiful landscape of Minervino.
