The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi by La Staffa is one of the star players in its category. A wine of extraordinary quality/price that, year after year, is receiving more and more feedback and positive comments from experts and from the world of travel. Esteem that we can’t share that when you have a guy in front of that, a little more than 20 years, combined with experience and expertise to the passion and desire to sacrifice, hard work, to promote the area in which it was born, in where he grew up, where he lives. Riccardo Baldi is all this. Staffolo is its beating heart, his life, his soul. And Riccardo, in Staffolo, is the "golden boy". We're in the Castelli di Jesi, in that part of the Marche that leaves behind the hills of the Apennines and looking towards the Adriatic Sea, giving an intriguing mix of terroir. A biodynamic agriculture unreported and certified, but practiced in the vineyard. In a vineyard nestled by the sun and by the skilled hands of winemakers, vineyard which is treated in a completely natural way and that gives fantastic wines, like this Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, vinified entirely in stainless steel, which opens on notes of flowers where we find the hawthorn, but also the broom, then to leave room for a white fruit such as apple and pear; on the final result is evolving towards notes of white cedar, notes and herbaceous plants that show all the complexity of its aromas. In the mouth we find it extremely cool, important, with a nice flavor. We are facing a great Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, a Verdicchio that we are sure will impress you for its great quality.
