SOAVE CLASSICO 'VIN SOAVE' INAMA 2023 DESCRIPTION

Inama's Soave Classico "Vin Soave" is a crystal clear example of how Garganega can give life to wines that are surprising for their clarity and definition. The history of the Inama winery began in the 1960s, with the acquisition of a few vineyards, and then continued with steady growth until today, where it has been able to establish itself as one of the most solid and interesting realities of the Soave area. Relaunching a territory mistreated by mass production: this has always been the task of Giuseppe and Stefano, implemented by valuing the maintenance of old vines and making the vines simple interpreters of the territory and not vice versa.

The white "Vin Soave" comes from pure Garganega grapes grown in the municipalities of Soave and Monteforte D'Alpone. The vines are more than 30 years old and are cultivated with rather low yields to favor the quality aspect of the fruit. The vines rest on volcanic soils, a fundamental aspect that gives it extreme sapidity and mineral hints. After hand harvesting and crushing, a short pellicular maceration takes place, meaning it remains in contact with the grape skins for about 4-12 hours, and this practice gives personality to the wine. Racking and fermentation take place in steel, before bottling.

The "Vin Soave" reveals itself in the glass with a light yellow color. A multifaceted nose, it does not skimp on floral hints that recall chamomile and elderflower, alternating with crisp golden apple and almond. On the palate minerality is its strong point, rhythmically combining freshness and pulp, fading on a persistence driven by savoriness. A must-have everyday white, to drink with any seafood preparation, or even vegetarian dishes. A must-have!
