VODKA 'PERGAN' VIERE HÄNTE DESCRIPTION

The 'Pergan' vodka of the Veneto-based production company Viere Hänte is an artisanal vodka with an Alpine essence produced on the Lessinia plateau, an area characterised by majestic mountains, green pastures and deep valleys carved by flowing streams. The name 'Pergan' comes from the language of the Cimbri, an ancient Germanic tribe that settled in Lessinia in the Middle Ages, and means 'mountains', an appellation chosen to pay tribute to the Lessini Mountains area. This vodka not only pays homage to the green pastures and high mountains, but also celebrates the culture of an ancient people, with its customs and traditions. These include the ritual of the 'filò', a sharing occasion in which folk tales were told about fantastic beings such as anguanas, ogres, witches, basilisks and fairies.

Viere Hänte Vodka 'Pergan' is made from a selection of top-quality, locally grown cereals combined with crystal-clear water flowing through the Lessinia valleys. The distillation process is then carefully carried out in order to bring out the purest aromatic characteristics of the grain.

On visual inspection, Viere Hänte Pergan Vodka shows a crystal-clear appearance characterised by very slight straw-coloured nuances. The nose has delicate cereal notes and evocative hints of hay, with subtle hints of aromatic herbs to complement them. The taste is forthright, round and enveloping, with excellent intensity and great character, endowed with lingering hints of hay and forage. The advice is to serve this vodka neat and chilled, so as to appreciate every nuance. Its use in the preparation of premium cocktails is also excellent, from the most imaginative to great classics such as the Moscow Mule and the Bloody Mary.
