The 5-Year-Old Single Malt "Wee Beastie" Whisky was born within the walls of one of the most charming distilleries in the Scottish Hebrides. Ardbeg is located in Port Ellen, on the rocky coast of the island of Islay, a true paradise for all fans of smoky, briny Whiskies. It is made from a selection of excellent barley malt, which undergoes the classic drying process using peat as fuel, which imparts the typical smoky notes. Distillation takes place in traditional stills, and to lower the degree of the distillate, the purest water is used, which comes from the lakes of Arinambeast and Uigedale. Whisky matures for 5 years in wooden barrels previously used for aging American Bourbon and Oloroso wine from Jerez de la Frontera. It is bottled without cold filtration.

"Wee Beastie" aged 5 Years, is a Single Malt Whisky created by the famous Ardbeg distillery. It is a bottle with a strong and incisive personality, bringing to the glass the dense and smoky character typical of this brand beloved by all fans of the great Hebrides peaty Whiskies. To the eye, it is light amber in color with bright old gold highlights. The olfactory picture is characterized by intense and rich aromas, reminiscent of spices, black pepper, vanilla, honeyed softness, ripe yellow fruit aromas, hints of balsamic herbs, pine resin, iodine memories wrapped in a dense peat breath.  On the palate it is wide and soft, with complex and persistent aromas, bringing out especially the spices, brackish and smoky sensations. The finish is savory, long and harmonious.
