Feral's 'White N°1' is an innovative and exciting product. It is an excellent example of the new category of 'proxies', products that exploit non-alcoholic fermentations to achieve intense, complex but naturally alcohol-free products. Organic white beetroot, hops and Szechuan pepper are the ingredients of this product which, in the glass, exudes surprising aromas of lychee, white peach and elderflower intertwined with a light touch of ginger, which lends a pleasant spiciness that balances the fresh, lively and lovable sip profile. Versatile, try it with both white meat and fish starters
The Bianco 'N°1' Feral is a fermented drink that stands out for its fresh and citric taste, as well as for the total absence of alcohol, produced in Italy from botanicals grown under a certified organic regime. The essential ingredient of this botanical fermented product is white beetroot, identified by the Feral guys as the perfect base for obtaining a completely non-alcoholic fermented product. In fact, the fermentation process used for the production of Feral fermented products is entrusted exclusively to lactic bacteria, therefore without the development of ethanol characteristic of the yeasts responsible for the production of beer and wine.
Feral Bianco 'N°1' is made from a fermented white beetroot base, consisting in particular of water and concentrated white beetroot juice from certified organic farming. The juice is fermented by lactic acid bacteria and is then infused with botanical extracts of hops and chili peppers. The production process then involves the use of sugar, malic acid and natural Sichuan pepper flavour, all ingredients from organic farming.
Upon visual examination, Feral's 'N°1' White shows a cloudy milky white appearance with golden reflections. The olfactory range opens up with strong citrus aromas which are particularly reminiscent of orange, joined by hints of fruit such as lychee and white peach, as well as hints of elderflower, ginger, Sichuan pepper and hops. The taste is very fresh and savory, with excellent structure and pleasant spiciness, characterized by a pleasant finish that offers sensations halfway between sweet and bitter. The advice of the producer himself is to serve the Bianco 'N°1' at a temperature between 8 and 10 °C, in combination with dishes based on vegetables, fish or even white meats.
