WHITE WINE ALPINO FURLANI DESCRIPTION

Matteo Furlani's Bianco "Alpino" was born in a winery in Trentino, located precisely in Vigolo Vattaro. Matteo Furlani leads his business with passion, deciding to imprint all his work in the respect of the raw material and the ecosystem surrounding his vineyards, producing an artisanal wine, which can be the right medium between traditional methods of grape processing and the necessary innovation, so that these techniques can survive the passage of time. His project is to recover all the native pre-phylloxera grape varieties, so as not to lose the historical winemaking heritage that deserves to be passed on.

The white grapes of Matteo Furlani's "Alpino" Bianco come from vineyards that are completely cultivated following the dictates of a biodynamic regime, indulging and following the natural phases of plant growth and grape ripening; the soil is mainly composed of medium-textured limestone. Human intervention in the vineyard is minimal and pesticides, herbicides and other chemicals are banned. The grapes are harvested by hand and in the cellar spontaneous fermentation takes place thanks to the action of indigenous yeasts and a 7-day maceration on the skins; no sulfur is added during bottling.

Matteo Furlani's Bianco "Alpino" appears to the eye a light straw yellow with bright and luminous reflections. The aromas are reminiscent of green apple, citrus and white flowers with a pleasant mineral finish; on the palate it is aromatic, fresh, mineral and crisp, making an interesting drink. Pairing is recommended with shellfish and seafood appetizers, as well as steamed or fried fish dishes; also interesting with fresh cheeses. An ideal product for aperitifs by the sea in summer with lifelong friends or for pleasant summer lunches with the family, enjoying a wine born out of wisdom and respect for the nature that surrounds us.
