Brama is a winery located in Caggiano, in the province of Salerno, that embraces an artisanal production philosophy, creating wines of unquestionable quality and strong personality, often outside the box. Caggiano is a mountain town located on the slopes of the Lucanian Apennines, at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level. The project is led by Gennaro Di Maggio, known as "Rino," and Tiziana Teodoro, a couple who chose the name Brama, an abbreviation of the word "bramosia" (longing), to underline their passion and desire to produce wine. Before embarking on this sustainability-driven adventure, the couple worked at a major agricultural estate in the area, before deciding to start their own venture, recovering vineyards planted in the 1960s.

The varietal range at Brama Winery, which spans about 3 hectares of vines, is both wide and diverse, with native varieties such as Fiano and Aglianico alongside Sangiovese, Barbera, Trebbiano, and Moscato, as well as international varieties like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot, often recovered from old vineyards. The vineyards are situated at altitudes ranging from 350 to 800 meters above sea level, on soils that are sometimes clay-limestone and other times rich in skeleton and clay. The agronomic management follows the principles of organic and biodynamic farming, with a genuine respect for environmental health. In the winery, where skin macerations are often employed even for white grapes, fermentation is mostly carried out in steel containers, while aging is done primarily in French oak barriques and tonneaux.

Thus, the limited production of Brama Winery was born, characterized by charming label names that reflect the romantic and distinctly Campanian spirit of Gennaro and Tiziana. These are original and authentic expressions, capable of revealing an untold side of Campanian winemaking.
