Daniele Portinari is an example of dedication, love for the land and commitment to future generations. He has been tending his vines, which were planted in the 1980s by the previous management, in the hills of Vicenza for some 15 years. The first wine label, dedicated to his eldest son, is the expression of an unwavering passion and a philosophy deeply rooted in the modern mentality, with an ancient history. It has been embraced above all by the current generations who want to give the world a different future. The winery is also a member of Vinnatur, an association of 170 producers who act with full respect for the land, the vine and natural cycles, limiting the use of chemicals and toxic agents through continuous experimentation both in the vineyard and during vinification.

Daniele Portinari's winery is located in the town of Alonte, in the province of Vicenza, among the south-eastern Berici hills, with their calcareous-clayey soils. The 5 hectares of vineyards are planted with vines, almost all of which are trained to the Guyot system, although in some cases the traditional Pergola is also used. The indigenous vines such as Tai Bianco or Friulano, Tai Rosso and Garganega are grown alongside the international Pinot Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which are blended to create these fascinating bottles. Between the rows of vines only copper and sulphur treatments are used, and year by year experimentation has led to a reduction in the use of even these minimally invasive treatments. The primary objective is to produce healthy grapes that form a base of excellent quality without the need for extensive manipulation. Harvesting is done manually, depending on the most suitable period for each grape variety, and only indigenous yeasts are used for spontaneous fermentation. The use of sulphites is limited, or often avoided, at any stage of the process.

Daniele Portinari's wines are therefore particularly genuine, certainly natural and absolutely artisanal. Nanni, the Bordeaux blend, is a passionate tribute to his first-born son that is available to the whole world. Pietrobianco, which was named after his second son, is an expression of the territory of Tai Bianco combined with Pinot, while the Tai Rosso wine is a 100% true expression of this land. The winery's approach is based on the philosophy of a world that wants to change, on the love for future generations, but also on the affection and passion for their own family, which are behind these wines that are as delightful as they are noble.
