Mulassano is not only a great name in the world of Vermouth, but its history is deeply rooted in the habits of Turin society from the mid-19th century onwards. The Caffè Mulassano, as we know it today, was opened in 1907 in Piazza Castello in the city of Turin, becoming a reference point for businessmen, entrepreneurs, writers and artists such as Guido Gozzano and Erminio Macario. It was here that toast was imported from America and, in 1926, the tramezzino was invented. From the partnership between the historic owner Amilcare Mulassano and Cavalier Pietro Bordiga, founder of a legendary distillery in the Cuneo area, the Mulassano Vermouth was born in the early 1900s.

For over a century, Mulassano Vermouth was served exclusively among the boiseries, bronzes and marble of the historic café, becoming its symbol. Only in recent years has it been sold outside the café, allowing anyone to enjoy this spiced wine with a long tradition that embodies the charm and habits of Turin society. The traditional recipe has undergone very few variations over the years, with the ingredients all remaining the same: Moscato wine and spices.

Vermouth Mulassano, available in the three traditional types of White, Red and Dry, can be drunk neat as an aperitif, as tradition dictates, or become a key feature in cocktail mixology with its elegant and traditional flavour. Today, everyone with a glass of Vermouth in their hand can experience the same emotions as the customers of Caffè Mulassano, both past and present.
