The amber yellow color tending toward orange accompanies bold fruit aromas and a broad sip
Bianco Macerato 'Giuly' is an orange wine of seductive breadth and authenticity, produced by the Marche Region's Agricola Fiorano through prolonged contact between the must and skins of the Pecorino grape variety. In addition to applying the principles of organic farming, Agricola Fiorano adopts a non-invasive oenology, always respectful of the raw material and the unique expression of the territory. In fact, in the winery, the use of additives and oenological aids is excluded, as is the use of selected yeasts, which tend to flatten the character of the terroir.
Agricola Fiorano 'Giuly' Bianco Macerato is made exclusively from Pecorino grapes grown under certified organic cultivation. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand, so as to respect the integrity of the grapes, which are then immediately transferred to the winery for vinification. Here, after destemming-crushing, the mass is mellowed in wooden barrels where alcoholic fermentation takes place thanks to the exclusive intervention of indigenous yeasts, accompanied by no less than 40 days of pellicular maceration. Subsequently, the liquid is drawn off and placed in stainless steel tanks for a few months' maturation prior to final bottling.
To the eye, Agricola Fiorano's 'Giuly' Bianco Macerato expresses an intense golden yellow colour tending towards orange. The olfactory panorama is broad and varied, described by scents of yellow-fleshed fruit, macerated flowers, wild herbs and citrus fruits, with mineral nuances in the background. The rich, structured palate displays a long, harmonious progression that rests on a saline finish. Due to its strong and energetic character, this orange wine from the Marche region requires substantial pairings such as savoury main courses of fish or white meat.
