Fattoria La Màgia's red Brunello di Montalcino is an organic wine made within an estate managed in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature. The 15 hectares of vineyards are part of the property owned by the Schwarz family, which has always been in love with the beauty of these places. The Sangiovese grapes come from vineyards that are over 40 years old and are cultivated on the southeastern slope of Montalcino, in the Sant'Antimo area, at an altitude of about 400-450 meters above sea level. The sunny and always well-ventilated exposure allows grapes of excellent quality, healthy and rich in aromas, to ripen. The vines are grown on stony, sandy soils that rest on deeper layers of clay. At the end of the harvest, the best grapes are selected and sent to fermentation, partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in truncated conical vats, with a 40-day maceration period on the skins. The wine matures for 36 months in 500-litre tonneaux, 1/3 new and the remaining 2/3 used. Ageing is completed with several months in the bottle.
Brunello di Montalcino La Màgia wine shows in the glass a beautiful light ruby red colour with luminous garnet reflections. On the nose, it expresses a very elegant bouquet, marked by floral scents of dried rose petals and violets. The palate is fragrant, with aromas of ripe cherries, red currants, delicate spicy hints and hints of noble woods. The palate has a good structure, with dense tannins, but well integrated with the body of the wine. The sip is deep and rich, with fruity aromas, veering towards refined tertiary sensations. The finish is long and very persistent. In a Jerobaom version, perfect for large events.
