"Accord Majeur" is a Brut Champagne produced by Lancelot-Pienne for enthusiasts who are fond of the Maison's characteristic taste. Lancelot-Pienne manages about 8 hectares of vineyards divided into many parcels, which are located in the Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne. This is a reality that began at the turn of the century, when Jean-Baptiste Lancelot, who worked for Mison Mumm in Cramant, where he began to cultivate his own vineyards. The passion for viticulture was passed down from generation to generation and is still the center of the Maison's activity today. Champagne Lancelot-Pienne has retained an artisanal face, strongly linked to the characteristics of the terroir.
Lancelot-Pienne's Brut "Accord Majeur" is a harmonious and balanced Champagne, made with 80 percent vintage wine and 20 percent reserve wines, comprising 15 different vintages corserved with the perpetual method, with new wine added at each harvest. This technique ensures continuity and a stability of taste over time, regardless of the particular characteristics of the individual vintage. Fermentations take place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and the vins clairs rest until July, when the final blend is created. Refermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with a 5-year rest on the lees. In the glass, it is light yellow in color, crossed by a fine and continuous perlage. The bouquet is intense and expressive, with floral nuances, aromas of ripe fruit, hints of bread crust and pastry. On the palate it is rich and satisfying, with an elegant sip and a finish of pleasant saline freshness.
