Ancestral Semi-sparkling White Quintia 2022

Quintia's Garganega Frizzante is a Veneto refermented wine of great energy. It is made from pure Garganega grapes grown on the Euganean Hills, a volcanic land that lends verve and minerality to the wines. The nose has well-defined aromas of white flowers, green apple and citrus fruits, with notes reminiscent of yeast, the result of refermentation. On the palate it is fresh, lively, with a delicate effervescence that makes the wine an ideal companion for fatty foods, such as fried vegetables or cheese

ANCESTRAL SEMI-SPARKLING WHITE QUINTIA 2022 DESCRIPTION

Quintia's Garganega Frizzante Ancestrale represents arefreshing and lively interpretation of Garganega grapes in a bottle-fermented version. On the other hand, the sustained acidity and fine aromatic bouquet that characterise this grape variety make it very suitable for the production of sparkling and semi-sparkling wines. Aware of this, the Sinigaglia family, at the helm of the Quintia winery, produces this label without artifice or manipulation, focusing on an engaging and carefree drinking experience..

Quintia Garganega Frizzante Ancestrale is a 100% Garganega from vines cultivated in the Euganean Hills area on soils of volcanic origin, rich in clay marl and trachyte. Agronomic management is based on the principles of certified organic agriculture and the harvest is carried out strictly by hand. In the cellar, the grapes undergo gentle pressing, followed by alcoholic fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks using only indigenous yeasts. Secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle through theaddition of specially preservedmust from the same harvest, without the addition of exogenous sugars and without the use of selected yeasts. The wine then rests for at least 6 months on the lees until its definitive release.

On visual inspection, the Garganega Ancestrale Frizzante from the artisanal winery Quintia expresses a straw-yellow colour with golden hues and a light veil, traversed by a subtle effervescence. The bouquet opens on floral aromas of jasmine, followed by notes of green apple and lemon and fragrant hints of yeast. In the mouth, it is fresh and lively, with a fine savoury-mineral shoulder that is enhanced by the delicate bubbles. The final finish evokes pleasant perceptions of white-fleshed fruit.
