Quintia's Garganega is a delicate expression of the Colli EUganei, a volcanic land capable of yielding refined wines. It comes from vineyards over thirty years old where the vines are kept cool. In the cellar, the wine is worked in an artisanal manner, with a long maceration on the skins that gives it good structure and complexity. The nose has hints of ripe fruit, such as apricot jam and candied orange, with fascinating almond notes on the finish. On the palate it is soft but with marked freshness, slight tannicity and a crystal-clear finish. Try it with savoury dishes, such as pea purée with crispy bacon

The Garganega from the Quintia winery is a streamlined and mineral interpretation of the Euganean Hills terroir, the result of a long maceration process on the skins. Garganega is the main variety of the Soave area, less than 50 kilometres from the Euganean Hills Regional Park, home of the Quintia estate. The two areas share the volcanic origin of the soils, an element that enhances the characteristics of Garganega, linked in particular to its vibrant mineral timbre.
Quintia Garganega originates exclusively from grapes of the white berry variety of the same name grown according to certified organic farming principles on the volcanic soils of the Euganean Hills, characterised by an abundant presence of trachyte and friable skeleton. The vines are over 30 years old and are located at an altitude of 150 metres above sea level with a south-eastern exposure, factors that favour a balanced ripening process. After harvesting, which is carried out strictly by hand, vinification proceeds by means of spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in vitrified cement vats, 30% whole cluster. Maceration on the skins lasts for 6 long months, contributing to the aromatic complexity and taste of the wine. After this period, the mass is drawn off and finally bottled.
To the eye, the macerated white wine Quintia Garganega reveals an amber yellow colour. The aromatic bouquet is described by intense hints of jammy fruit and candied orange, enhanced by tones of aromatic herbs and almonds. The palate is soft but balanced, with a subtle and well-integrated volatile acidity, with a slender and long development that rests on a crystalline floral finish, enhanced by light tannin.
