This Grappa is characterized by its intense and rich aromatic profile: white flowers, honey, peach, apricot and citrus are just some of the scents that make it so soft and pleasant to sip. GRAPPA DI MALVASIA E MOSCATO DISTINA - 50CL DESCRIPTION

Through its subtly aromatic aromas, Distina's Grappa di Malvasia e Moscato conveys the varietal essence of the grapes from which it is made. Claudio Campaner, the owner of the Distina winery and distillery, learned the art of distilling from maestro Vittorio Capovilla, an absolute benchmark in the world of high-quality grappa. Moscato Bianco and especially Malvasia Bianca di Candia Aromatica, the grapes on which this grappa is based, are among the traditional varieties of the Colli Piacentini, the area where Distina operates. In the approximately 3 hectares of vines owned, there are also very old vines dating back to 1980.

Distina Grappa di Malvasia e Moscato is made from the pomace of Malvasia Bianca di Candia Aromatica and Moscato Bianco grapes grown according to the dictates of certified organic agriculture in the Colli Piacentini on soils composed of white clay and sand at an altitude of over 250 metres above sea level. Following racking, the pomace is subjected to a double discontinuous distillation process using a bain-marie still and then the liquid is left to rest for 6-12 months in stainless steel tanks "at full strength", without any dilution with water.

The Malvasia and Moscato Grappa from the Piacenza-based producer Distina reveals a transparent, crystal-clear appearance. The aromatic spectrum offers inviting sensations of peach and white flowers that blend with peculiar herbaceous and musty notes. The sip is soft, very warm and intense, with a persistent, fragrant aromatic finish that echoes the perceptions perceived on the nose.
