Falkenstein Pinot Blanc is a mountain wine with great personality and expressiveness. It comes from vines cultivated on steep slopes in an area characterised by a harsh and difficult climate. It is an enveloping and elegant wine, with a nice savoury note and fresh aromas of citrus fruits and field grasses
The Pinot Bianco by Falkenstein is one of those South Tyrolean wines that shine and stand out for the personality that are able to offer. Very expressive, with a style German, has an energy and a shot really important. We are in Venosta Valley, where the Pinot Blanc has found a perfect terroir to express themselves better and always here the company Falkenstein has started growing grapes in 1999, in an area from the harsh climate and hard, with vineyards located on steep grades. Bernadette and Franz Pratzner dedicated to vine passion and love, along with a respect for the land that is not all. And it is this philosophy that led to the creation of great wines, perfect expression of the territory of origin. As this Pinot Blanc in purity that is shown immediately in all its minerality. Harvest strictly manual, by choice and by necessity since the steep slopes, fermentation for 7-10 days in barrels of acacia wood and aged for nine months in the same barrels used for fermentation. Bright golden color, fruity with hints of citrus, plums and a finale of Mediterranean herbs; a mouth enveloping and savory, mineral and very elegant. A Pinot Blanc of great depth that will win you over with its energy sharp and vibrant...
