PROSECCO DI VALDOBBIADENE SUPERIORE EXTRA DRY LUXURY MIONETTO DESCRIPTION

Mionetto's Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Extra Dry 'Luxury Collection' is a Prosecco with a fruity and floral aromatic profile, typical of the type. The 'Luxury Collection' selection reflects all the style of Mionetto, an ancient sparkling wine producer founded back in 1887 in the municipality of Valdobbiadene. In particular, this line is distinguished by the modern and refined design of the bottle, characterised by a sinuous shape that has obliquity as its hallmark, underlining the prestige of the sparkling wines contained in the collection.

Mionetto Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Extra Dry 'Luxury Collection' is made from pure Glera grapes grown in the hilly area of Valdobbiadene, where some of the best Proseccos around take shape. In the winery, the grapes are vinified in white by soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, the sparkling wine base is conveyed into autoclaves for frothing in accordance with the Martinotti Method, otherwise known as the Charmat Method, and after a few months' rest on the lees and in the bottle, the wine is finally marketed with a residual sugar content of between 14 and 17 g/l, as Extra Dry then.

In the glass, the 'Luxury Collection' Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Extra Dry from the Veneto winery Mionetto displays a pale straw yellow hue with lively effervescence. The nose perceives typically varietal sensations of fruit such as pear, citrus fruits such as orange and lemon peel and flowers such as wisteria, notes that are echoed on the palate along with a pleasant freshness to support the lightly sweetened taste, all in a fine, delicate and fragrant context with good aromatic persistence.
