Weingut Reinhardt's Riesling Trocken Gutswein is the estate's most immediate and easy-to-read expression of Riesling, an ideal introduction to the fantastic world of German Riesling. We are in the Palatinate wine region, Pfalz in German, the second largest in Germany, an area of great importance also for the high quality of the wines produced here. In fact, it is a region that is increasingly attracting the attention of wine enthusiasts from all over the world, particularly thanks to its excellent Riesling and Pinot Noir. What contributes to the character of the Palatinate wines is the peculiar environmental situation, with the region lying between the Haardt mountains and the Rhine river. In fact, the mountains create a natural protection from rainfall, somewhat like the Vosges in the not so distant Alsace, contributing to the relatively warm and dry climate. On the opposite side, the presence of a large river mitigates the temperatures and accentuates the illumination of the neighbouring vineyards.

Weingut Reinhardt Trocken Gutswein Riesling comes from only Rhine Riesling grapes grown in accordance with the principles of certified organic farming. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately transported to the winery and vinified using the white wine method through gentle pressing and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the same containers in which the wine matures for several months until final bottling.

Intense straw yellow with greenish hues is the colour of Weingut Reinhardt's Riesling Trocken Gutswein, which evokes typical varietal aromas of green apple, nectarine, lime and jasmine on the nose. The palate is dry, fresh and mineral, with an elegant finish that recalls the fruity and floral sensations previously perceived on the nose, in an overall framework of pleasant balance.
