The rosé wine by Fiorano winey is produced from Sangiovese grapes, with vinification only in steel tanls. Simple perfumes of red flowers, wild roses, strawberries and fresh cherries are its distinctive character. The taste is fresh, agile and easy drinking, with a good fruity persistence
The Rosato di Fiorano wine is born from the love, passion and authenticity that Paolo Beretta and Paola Massi put into their work daily, both in the vineyard and the cellar. The Sangiovese that forms the basis of this label, which is cultivated with full respect for the environment using certified organic practices, is only processed in steel, telling the most authentic side of the Piceno territory. Fragrant and forthright, it flows quickly on the palate, encouraging repeated drinking, never satiated. A bottle to uncork now, to have the pleasure of tasting it in its immediacy.
The Fiorano Rosato comes from the pure use of Sangiovese, a varietal cultivated in plots about 270 metres above sea level, facing southwest. The soil is sandy and clayey, where the vines grow using the Guyot system. Manual harvesting takes place during the last week of September and the first week of October. The must ferments spontaneously, thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts, in steel, macerating briefly on the skins to acquire the right colour tone. The final stage of ageing takes place in steel, where the wine is left to rest for a few months until it is ready to be bottled and put on the market.
The Rosato signed Fiorano is revealed to the eye with a concentrated pink colour, endowed with a beautiful brilliance. The nose is rich, where fruit notes alternate with more floral appeals, enhanced by touches of medicinal herbs at the end of the olfactory analysis. The entry is streamlined, dynamic and energetic, marked by a savoury, fruity mouthfeel. A versatile dry Rosé in the kitchen is well suited to accompany aperitifs or evenings when indulging in a good pizza or simple fish dishes.
