Rosso di Montepulciano "Fossolupaio" by Bindella - Tenuta Vallocaia is produced in Tuscany, specifically in Acquaviva di Montepulciano in the province of Siena. The winery has been run by the Bindella family since 1983, who fell in love with these lands and decided to enhance their potential and beauty. From generation to generation, this passion has been passed down, and today after some 30 years of work, the land holdings have been expanded, combining the cultivation of vines with that of olive trees for a balanced and thriving ecosystem. The final product is unique and of the highest quality.
The Sangiovese and Syrah grapes of Rosso di Montepulciano "Fossolupaio" by Bindella - Tenuta Vallocaia come from the Fossolupaio and Vallocaia vineyards, located between 275 and 415 meters above sea level. Their exposure varies since some are positioned to the south/south-east and others to the northeast and north-west, a condition that guarantees a wide and differentiated expressive intensity; the soil is silty-clayey, sandy-loamy and sandy-clay for an elegant final product with a strong character. The grapes are harvested by hand. Arriving at the winery, the clusters are fermented in steel tanks, and then the must macerates on the skins between 8 and 10 days. It matures for one year in French oak barrels and for 3 months refines in the bottle.

The nose expresses floral notes and ripe red-fleshed fruit such as strawberries and raspberries with spicy notes of black pepper; in the mouth, it is structured, elegant and enveloping with good sapidity on the finish that balances the drink. In pairing, it is recommended with dishes based on cuts of red meat typical of the Tuscan tradition cooked on the grill or stewed and mixed sliced meats of medium seasoning; also interesting with vegetarian dishes. Excellent product to be consumed throughout a meal and on winter evenings in front of the fireplace, sipping a perfect ambassador wine of authentic flavours.
